Who even am I? & what do I run

Brief Story

I was born in sunny Durban, South Africa in 1989, as a kid, I was a dreamer and I dreamed of being the boss of a company, I think it goes back to visiting my grandfather’s office of his construction business, where I would sit in his chair and pretend to be the boss.

At my grandparents’ house, I had a table set up in the back of the lounge like a desk with all the items you would find on a desk in the early 90s, this is where I believe this dream and desire was birthed in me.

My entrepreneurship journey has not been perfect but it’s this dream that has lived in my mind and my heart for over 32 years of my life, this is the dream that I can’t let go of, because if I let it go, then I’ve failed myself…

I started my real journey of building a business in 2011 and the first 5 years were an interesting learning curve, I would consider this period a failure but in every failure there is a lesson to be learned, a new perspective and a new way to look at the situation.

In 2015 I finally found overnight success when I stumbled into the WordPress plugin development world which had a 4-year run, this was an eye-opening period of my life that I was not fully ready for… The way things can affect your mindset is interesting and I will speak more about this journey and mindset challenges in future posts.

I don’t claim to be this SUPER successful entrepreneur but I do believe I that I have advice for those chasing their dream and hopefully I encourage them to chase their dream and build a life that they could only dream of.
